Coupons, Vouchers, Discount codes

Call them what you want, but all you want to do is give your (future) clients an incentive to buy from you and not from your competitors.

This plugin is simple to add to your checkout system. Just add { sccoupons } to your final ShowCart page (together with perhaps Shipping and Taxes) and you’re good to go.

The setup of the coupons is done in the SimpleCaddy Plugin Administration as follows:

Click the Coupons plugin link to start configuring your coupons.

Click the image button in the toolbar.

To create a coupon with the code “mycoupon” just type in the code. It must NOT contain any spaces and is NOT case sensitive. Coupons can be time limited, number limited or product specific. Or a combination of these three. Don’t overdo it unless you know exactly what the results should be. Believe me, it’s complicated enough.

If the coupon is limited in numbers, each time a coupon is used, its number decreases. After the maximum number of coupons is used, the code is no longer valid and will not work.

A coupon must be enabled to work (obviously).
